Jacob has 10 years' experience working on Bay Street with over 100 issuers ranging from some of the largest banks in the world to ventures spanning a variety of business sectors. In his previous role he built and managed a team of 40 salespeople working in capital markets distribution. Studying Psychology at McGill University framed his interests in markets, motivation and behavioral economics. A lifelong learner and entrepreneur, Jacob holds the CSC and CPH designations from the Canadian Securities Institute and a Series 7 License with FINRA’s MQP. He is a sitting Director on the board of De La Salle College “Oaklands” and Armada Mercantile Ltd.

Prior to cofounding Canid Capital, Tom worked on an institutional equity sales desk where he developed significant business relationships with institutions and issuers across Canada and the USA. Before then, he carried a Vice President title and managed a team of 15 salespeople. Tom is a proven results driver with a considerable network of registrants and issuers. He is the recipient of several awards including Presidents Clubs and Rookie of the Year in his first job after graduating Western University's business program. Tom holds the CSC and CPH designations with the Canadian Securities Institute in addition to the Series 7 and Series 63 Licenses with FINRA. He is a sitting Director on the board of Myriad Uranium Corp.
